Description

The roots and texture hair gel is a light but firm multi-purpose styling gel for locs, twists and braids.  With no residue it washes out well, not causing build up in locs.

How To Use

For Locs: place a small amount of the roots & texture hair gel on the new growth of the locs to aid in retwisting or palm rolling. For best results sit under the dryer until the gel sets.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I use the Hydrating Mist and Oil?

We recommend using it 2–3 times a week to rehydrate and replenish moisture — especially after washing your hair at home. While our mist is lightweight and easily absorbed, daily use isn’t necessary, and may be too much for some locs. If your hair isn’t feeling dry, once a week is perfectly fine.

Can I use it on dry hair?

Yes! You can spray the mist on both wet or dry locs and scalp, and there’s no need to rinse it out. It’s great for keeping your locs feeling fresh between wash days.

That said, be mindful of how much you use — a light misting is enough. Even with the best ingredients, overusing mist or oil can still lead to buildup over time. When in doubt, start with less — your locs will thank you!

Will it leave a sticky or greasy feeling?

Not at all. The formula is designed to absorb quickly, leaving your locs feeling soft, refreshed, and never sticky or greasy.
